Operation Renewable Energy Plan

What Is The Problem?

In 1970 the U.S. imported 24% of it’s oil, now that number is well over 70% and continues to grow. Through out the world 85 million barrels of oil are produced in a single day and the U.S. uses 21 million of those barrels leading the U.S. to spend 475 billion dollars on oil in 2008 alone, that’s 475 billion dollars taken out of our economy and going to potentially unfriendly and unstable nations. We use 25% of the world’s oil and we only have 4% of the world’s population.

DRILL HERE DRILL NOW! The sad truth is oil production has reduced in the last 3 years, and yet the prices spiked. It’s harder to find and there’s not enough to go around.

Renewable Energy Is the Answer!

First of all, renewable energy is clean, by using renewable energy sources you cut down carbon emissions which are on the rise, causing global climate change. Secondly, in the long run, renewable energy is much cheaper, all the main components of renewable energy, wind, sun and water, are abundant and easily found on American soil. The technology is here to accomplish a mission of this scale, it is our time, it is our responsibility to win America’s energy independence and ensure our generation is the last to be exposed to carbon based energy.

From wind power alone, in ten years the U.S. can create 20% of our energy, and create 3.4 million jobs. That’s a big industry.

How Operation Renewable Energy can accomplish the task ahead?

ORE’s mission is to ensure renewable energy is the primary source of energy in a post carbon world, help win America’s energy independence in 10 years, and ensure we are the last generation to be exposed to fossil fuels. This is a massive undertaking and we must all come together to accomplish this mission.

That is exactly why Operation Renewable Energy has started a community based web site. It’s simple, the more people we get to sign up on our network, the more revenue we generate through ad space and investors, which is then used to fund our renewable energy projects.

It’s Operation Renewable Energy’s goal to raise enough money from events, merchandise, donations, ad space, and investments, to buy a piece of land abundant in resources and develop a new, renewable energy power grid. We can do this all over the world, but we need you to join ORE’s mission and invite others to join as well as it makes all the difference in the world. There is so much to do and together we can help save the earth and have some fun while doing it. Join our mission!

Humanity’s Need To Cut Down On Fossil Fuels

Right after the industrial revolution, the exploitation of natural resources by human societies increased at top speed. Fossil fuels are ever since the main source of energy used to cover most of our needs. This made people believe that they do not depend on renewable energy, but can survive only by using old technological inventions.

However, as it takes millions of years for fossil fuels to be created, being extracted in such an alarming pace means that we will sooner or later run out. Only then will people realize how much we wrongly depend on them. Production of all kinds of goods, heating and transportation are only few of the fields that will be directly affected.

But even if fossil fuels were an infinite source of energy, they are the main reason why huge quantities of carbon dioxide accumulates in the atmosphere, causing the greenhouse effect as well as acid rain, breathing problems and destruction of natural habitats.

Concequently, scientists should concentrate on creating and improving the ways we use alternative sources of energy. Making these sources more effective and easy to use, humanity will be able to wean off fossil fuels and face climate change. Generous fundings are given to laboratories dealing with medical care and weaponary. It is time that we realise that fossil fuels should not play the dominant role in producing energy, and thus major steps should be taken.

Social Media & Renewable Energy

Social Media has been steadily rising as a marketing force since Myspace and Facebook started the social networking craze and with the recent and extremely quick rise of the iPhone we will obviously start to see even more people using the newer social outlets such as Twitter. This presents a huge opportunity for renewable energy companies and organizations and if taken advantage of, social media outlets could become a massive and FREE marketing tool that reaches a massive crowd across multiple spectrums.

Operation Renewable Energy is a perfect example of a renewable energy company utilizing social outlets. Twitter alone has helped us more than we could have ever imagined! From finding guests for our live show to gaining network members, Twitter has allowed us access to a whole group of people that we would usually never have contact with. Beyond that our Facebook group has grown immensely and has become a driving force behind Operation Renewable Energy’s success.

With a very small amount of time invested, we managed to establish a massive online presence using social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook that would have taken months or even years to build ten years ago.
